Hope you're all ok? I am doing my third round of IVF next month - which will be my first round of mild IVF. Just wondered if anyone has done mild IVF? What was your experience? Has anyone had better results off the back of it?
(Previous round details and results on my profile)
Thanks x

Wanted to wish you good luck with your new protocol Like your previous cycles just take it a day at a time Remember if unsure of what is happening next ask questions
Hello, I've been reading about mild IVF this week following a webinar I joined by Create. It seems to be their preferred approach, and for older women like me (I'm 43) who are still ovulating but have questionable egg quality, it also sounds like a logical approach, as the strong stims meds can damage the eggs apparently.
May I ask why you are pursuing this approach?
I'm speaking with the London women's clinic Brighton branch tomorrow at their open day about this approach, so more info coming soon.
In my first cycle last month, I had 3 blasts out of 5 eggs and they all grew to day 6 and survived the biopsy. Then PGTA says they're all abnormal, so I'm obviously devastated and wondering what could be changed with the next round.
I've also joined that webinar. I started researching about it but didn't think my NHS clinic offered it, but the consultant actually mentioned it as an option to me.
I'm 39, with low AMH (either due to age or 2 lots of ovarian surgeries - or a combination of them both). I only get 2-3 eggs at EC, first round had 1 strong embryo to transfer but didn't stick and all 3 embryos failed before day 3 on the second round - indicating a quality issue. They introduced ICSI on round 2, so they're considering whether to bother next time as maybe my eggs are too fragile for that.
I know its all about getting one good egg right now, but I am a bit worried about not getting any eggs at all with this approach considering my low numbers with full IVF. I think it's worth a try though!
