Hello, myself and my husband are about to have round 1 of retrieval. Worrying about implantation and the dreaded 2 week wait... only 27 and 31.

Any advices to new starts?

Hi, me and my husband are just finished our first round and the 2 week wait. I would just say take one day at a time, try and not let outside noise in and take time for yourself, don’t commit to things you don’t want to do for however long you are on the journey just make it about you and your partner, the less stress and anxiety in your life the better. I was nervous about starting as I had a really long protocol but it was honestly it was nothing like I I thought, the retrieval was a breeze and I was terrified as I’ve never been in hospital and the transfer was actually and amazing experience. Please do not stress the worst part for us was the 2 week wait I’m not going to lie it was an emotional rollercoaster and do not get down on yourself if you have zero symptoms, we got the biggest surprise of our lives!
