have any of you been referred to the implantation clinic for secondary infertility? I’d like to open a discussion 😁

implantation clinic question
Hi Toffeepudding99, what’s an implantation clinic?
Hi - where a biopsy of your womb is taken and sent off for testing; to look for any abnormalities of the endometrium to see possible reasons for implantation failure x
Oh. I didn’t have this. Haven’t seen it on here either hopefully someone will know something. Have you been referred?
Yes. I’m 40 and on my first round had a PGTa euploid transferred which sadly ended in miscarriage. I’ve had another retrieval and again one euploid available. Because of the miscarriage of the first euploid I’ve been recommended to go to the implantation clinic. I don’t want to be naive but from my reading it’s for recurrent miscarriage/ implantation failure and I don’t feel i sit in that box yet: but nor do I want too. I have a son (he’s 12, natural conception and easy pregnancy). Of course I’m aware that my body will have changed in 12 years but my intuition is telling me I can do it this time, my body can do it and so I have a big fat question mark over additional testing. Not to mention the cost of the test is high and may be better served towards our third and final round as part of the package we have paid for. The issue is my age, the consultants seem to suggest it’s a miracle I’ve had two euploids so far for my age - even though my AMH is still high (again for my age). I don’t know where to just go with my gut x
