First Time IVF Cycle

Hi all,

Currently on the 2 week wait after embryo transplant got 3 days to wait to test. Embryo was a 4cc and no other viable embryos. I took a test yesterday knowing it was to early to help prepare for the worst outcome. ( it was negative)

Days after the transplant I had sore boobs, cramping etc

Now I'm getting night sweats, boobs aren't as sore and cramping is there now and then.

Does anyone have any success stories?

TIA

Hi I had a transfer with a 4cc on Tuesday. Keeping everything crossed for you! I have been reading around and there are definitely success stories out there. I’m 38 and was told 10-15% chance of having a baby. Hope that doesn’t get you down. There’s still a decent chance for us even though the chances are lower. On transfer day they said the grading is not scientific and there’s so much they don’t know.

Is this your first transfer? I’m keeping everything crossed for you Xxx

Yeah first transfer, I'm 35 and healthy so was a bit gutted when they said only one 4cc embryo made it.

It's all very confusing, I was due my period yesterday and not came but I'm not sure if the meds have messed it up. So confused

Hope everything goes well for you too x

Is it male factor for you? That’s what we are. I was 34 when I started and we had 5 blastocysts but I think so much down to luck. What I have learnt is everyone’s body reacts differently to the meds too and it’s a bit of trial and error. It’s so much to go through but you got this 💪 This site is brilliant for support and knowledge too.

It’s good that you haven’t had your period yet. Not too long for you to wait now. Longest wait ever I know xx

Best to wait till OTD before testing again Continue with any meds as directed - eat healthy - drink plenty of fluids and take care of yourself Be sure to use 1st pee of the day as this is the most concentrated

Hello. I only had one blast too from 8 eggs and the blast was ungraded as it hadn’t quite done what it needed to do for grading (whatever that means). I was so disheartened, but I am currently 9 weeks pregnant. I still worrry all the time that baby is ok, but I’ve had two scans and everything is good. Hopefully this gives you a bit of hope. I am 37 with unexplained infertility. I would say wait until test day, the waiting drives you mad but it is so much worse to have inconclusive results. Good luck xx

Official test dat was yesterday. Was negative we are gutted. I've still no period and the only bleeding I've had is very similar to spotting. I'm now 11 days post FET. Not holding out much hope though
