So quick update. Out of the 10 eggs from my second donor cycle, 9 mature, 7 fertilised, and just found out I have 5 Frosties, 1 pending and have just had 1 fresh transferred! I was hoping for 5 embryos and I’ve got 6 and maybe all 7! Hopefully I won’t need them 🤞🏼

I’ve been eating pineapple core, and next stop is Maccies for my fries! Let’s hope it makes a difference and the little ray of hope sticks this time ☺️

I know! It’s definitely a wierd feeling. As hard as this is try and enjoy the moment for what it is now and don’t try and focus on the “what ifs” too much. Be kind to yourself xx

Just heard from the clinic! Final embryo is a day 6 BB and has joined its siblings in the freezer! 7/7! These are strong little eggs! Dig deep and get comfy little AA it’s time to go home ✈️ 🌈

Great news on the 7 / 7 !! Can I ask you a question? When you have had the previous cycles that have sadly failed, do your clinic insist you have a withdrawal bleed cycle before you can start again or are they happy to start you again on the withdrawal bleed (hoping that question makes sense!?) X

I can’t believe it! After only getting 3 last time. I’ve never had to wait. I just start again as soon as my period comes. First 2 I bled before day 10 and the 3rd I bled a week after stopping meds. It’s just been with timing of bleeds and the cancelled transfer etc that’s meant I am now 10 months down the line. The program I am in says aim to complete in 18 months but can be extended x

make sure to wear them all the time!, I'm sure i read somewhere you do need to keep your feet warm, another of the urban myths perhaps but suits the weather xx

Remember to be kind to yourself and do little things that bring you joy in the 2ww, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you !

I’m trying but i don’t like hot feet lol. I read keep your feet warm for a warm uterus! My socks have got a pineapple on the bottom of one and “stick baby stick” on the other.

I’m planning on trying to relax, do some healthy cooking and go for a few walks. I’ve got longer off work this time. X

Just wanted to wish you all the best!! It is a long wait, but spend it well looking after yourself, rest if you need/can, walks, keep hydrated and eat well!! I kept telling myself to be patient and let time do its thing! Helped me wait till test day!

Thankyou. I’m feeling tired so think a good nights sleep in my own bed is what I need to start with. I’m not back at work till Friday so some healthy meal planning, walks, chilling out is on my to do list! Not sure how long I’ll last before I can’t resist a test. One day at a time…. X
