OTD opinions pls!

My OTD is tomorrow but I have to work all day. The day after I could stay home if result is bad.

What would you do? Test tomorrow or Tues??

I'm desperate to find out obviously (especially since no symptoms). It's mental torture

I'd probably test Tuesday so you can manage your own wellbeing properly X presume it's not an option to call in sick Monday if it doesn't go well? X

Wishing you all the best over the next few days. It’s so difficult to manage emotions on test day. I always pick a non working day so if you have enough meds to wait until testing on Tuesday that’s what I would do. Whatever you decide though it’s the right thing for you xxx

I couldn't wait until otd date let alone the date after. If you can wait, go for it x

Thanks everyone. No I work for myself so not an option to take it off. Yes I think I need to look after my mental health so Tuesday it is. X

So you were able to wait until your OTD to test? Good for you! If you can still manage to wait until you have no work that would even be better. Good luck! Lots of baby dust to you!

Thank you I have held out. I am so nervous about the morning. 🥹 thinking good thoughts though. I've been a roller coaster of emotions these past 11 days xx

Good luck! I’ve always caved after about 5 days so you’ve done brilliantly. I hope you get the result you want. Fingers crossed for you x 🤞🏼

Congratulations! You're still early on, perhaps get some blood betas done if you're feeling anxious? They're a better indicator of how your pregnancy is progressing than line progression on different tests. And those digital Clearblue ones have a reputation for inducing anxiety if the display doesn't switch to higher weeks when you think it should. Enjoy the moment, lovely, you're pregnant! Well done for holding out! X

Yh I phoned the clinic I'm in at 8.30am tomorrow morning. The nurse I spoke to said I will get the results tomorrow too. X

Great news, keep us posted on how you're getting on! hCG levels are different for everyone, the important bit is that the levels keep rising, your clinic will be able to help to interpret the results when you get yours done two days apart. My clinic would typically only confirm a positive urine pregnancy test with a single hCG blood test but would do a repeat test to ease nerves when requested! Good luck! X

Thanks for the info. Yes having two sounds good, they said they might do that. I hope they do. I was told I would find out today, but they haven't rang yet. Only open til 4pm and results back by 2pm. So I'm going with no news is good news until morning when I can call them. Xx

Just had a late but fab call with the results of my beta. Hcg levels were 1603 yesterday. I'm so grateful for all the advice and comments. It really makes a difference knowing you are not alone in this nerve-wracking process.Early scan booked for 28th March. Xx

That's fantastic news, very happy for you! Seeing such strong beta results hopefully puts your mind at ease a bit but I know how the days and weeks stretch until that first scan, hang in there and try to enjoy the pregnant bliss if you're able to! ❤️
