This morning I got my very first BFP. I know I have a long way to go, but wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who has supported me, given me recommendations and advice. You've kept me sane, made me laugh and made me cry over the years reading the posts.
Now I have no idea what comes next, so any advice welcome.
Thanks
X

just want to say congratulations, early days but hope the little emby hangs in there tightly
Amazing news!! Congratulations!!
In terms of what's next - try and keep calm!! Think positive and all will be well! Your clinic should book you for a scan around 7 weeks to check on things and then its onwards and upwards from there. x
Congratulations! It's an important first step xx and I'm over the moon for you.
As daisy says, it's all a bit of a steel mind waiting game! Try and enjoy being pregnant and not doing tests if you can x it's easier said than done! Some clinics want beta HCG tests but some go just by the urging test positive xx
Thanks, my clinic wanted a blood test tomorrow or a positive urine test two days later, so I really am early. Will just wait until then and test again. Thanks for the advice. X
Congratulations!!! I can only say take 1 day at a time, stay in that positive mindset and do what you need to stay there, worrying is ok but be rational as to the worry and all the very best for a lovely healthy pregnancy xx
Aw wow! What lovely news to hear. Congratulations, I'm sure it feels very surreal! I noticed you'd asked before about implantation test - did you end up getting any and make any chances? Wishing you a stress free pregnancy Xxx
Thank you. Yes I did have some tests and discovered I have hereditary thrombophilia, so on daily clexane injections now. No idea if that made the difference, could just be donor eggs. I couldn't put myself through another collection with OHSS.
Oh that's interesting babe, thank you for replying. I'm coming up to my 3rd fresh cycle and my consultant isn't minded to test for anything else really. It's frustrating and I would like to maybe see if my gp might do some tests for me. Or even medichecks. Hope you're feeling OK, I'm sure it's an anxious time x
Aw that's brilliant! Really pleased for you 🎉👏 Congratulations, today is a good day 😘 An amazing day! Just take it one day at a time now hope all continues as it should xx
A huge congratulations! Best of luck to the rest of your pregnancy. Relax and try to think positive. Listen to music and think of happy and positive thoughts. Xx
Big congratulations you have made it with his grace. I am so happy for you, please put your legs up and take it easy and rest you deserve that rest and keep going and look after yourself. XX
Yes it is a tough journey, is a year now since we started chatting and you did 2 treatments, not the ones you did before then. Yes, it must be a shock for what you went through. My clinic always said is not 100% but they will do what they can. Just make the most of it including morning sickness😀don't mind me. Please make sure you monitor yourself always. XX
I went back to the clinic on December 13th and came back on the 20th. 15th fell ill and did not know I had covid. the transfer took place on the 20th morning we left to uk the afternoon. Dr was so good he changed my treatment add a new drug which make difference. I tested on 1st January it came back positive, went for a scan and it shows 1 embryo, on the 16th I blended and later stopped, went to my GP she referred me for another scan and said the first scan is not correct because my bladder is empty when is done. went to the hospital and handover the letter but I was told is not urgent since GP did not send it electronically, the same day I was told by my midwife I started bleeding with clots, called emergency and was taken to A & E then discharged in the morning I was called my early pregnancy team to come in to check if it still viable, scan done they saw two babies with a strong heartbeat. so I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. Two weeks ago went back to A & E vomited with blood, dehydrated and they gave me drips and medications to help me keep food and drink down. A lot is happening since last month but the good news is the twins are doing well.
Oh my goodness, that's amazing news. Congratulations! We're both pregnant together. I only had one put in, so mine is a single. This is such good news. Sorry you've been ill though, that's rubbish. When is your next scan?
Yes we are , if we are lucky last year would have been the same. Is lovely we are doing it together. My next scan is 28th of this month. Thank you. Yes Dr put 4😀 to gave me more chances. He just wants to make it work this second time, he is so kind. Please look after yourself, will keep you posted.
