Frantic about follicles

Hey! i am so glad i came across this community. so friendly and supportive it beats stressing all by myself and googling from dusk til dawn.

So i'm 36yo and on day 6 of the injection process (bemfola injections) for egg freezing. I'm single but ironically have just started dating someone i really like.

I previously had lots of follicles on my scan in october (24) which has gone down to 20 Today on my progress scan. And some are really small. I'm beating myself up a lot because I know i drank half a bottle of wine last friday and the week before and my diet has been poor. And my issue is i can afford to only do ONE round of egg freezing. But the lady who scanned me thinks i'll probably lose a third of these and get less than 15 in the bank. She said she personally would only be happy with 15-20 eggs. and therefore i may need to do another round.😑

i'm wondering how accurate are these scans? they seem to count them in a blink of an eye when they look like balls of dust to me. could she have missed some?? and if i have 20 follicals is there any chance i could get over 15 even though some are quite small.

Early days yet still a chance the follicles will grow to the correct size to maybe contain an egg Try to improve your diet and maybe stick to non-alcoholic wine for the future
