Does anyone know whether it's a good or a bad idea to have a colonic hydrotherapy session about 3 weeks before a Frozen Embryo Transfer?

As colonics aren’t scientifically proven to have any beneficial affects I would probably stay away. In my own experience I’ve found it better to keep things super simple in the run up to treatment.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Thank you! I have decided it's too close to the FET to risk it. I spoke to a GP friend and she thought it was prob best avoided. Thank you very much for the luck! x

I myself had a colonic irrigation last month after a fail transferred and in preparation for my 2nd transfer that took place last week.

I felt great afterward and less sluggish. Im not sure if will make any difference though.

I would speak with your clinic before doing it

Thanks! I used to love having them, and I still believe in them, but with so many changes happening in my body so close to the FET, I will wait until another time to have one. Fingers crossed for a successful transfer for you! x
