Does anyone know if there are benefits from having intralipids if you’re not also having steroid treatment, or is it more of a package deal?
My drs aren’t willing to prescribe me steroids under any circumstances (I’ve begged, it’s not happening) but I can get intralipids done at another place. I have had some vague autoimmune things over the years - alopecia and raynauds but it’s really just a matter of wanting to throw it all at our last embryos xx

You can have intralipids without steroids. I did that on my second transfer. Got a BFN. On the most recent transfer I did both and got a BFP. Obviously i can't say for sure that it was the steroids that made a difference. My clinic despite being quite over the top with other treatments also took some persuading with the steroids. They eventually agreed to put me on a low dose (10mg daily).
I went to an immune specialist (the one in Epsom many people go to) and he told me that Intralipids are not worth it without steriods. I did one transfer with Intralipids and no steriods and miscarriaged a PGS normal embryo. When I was on 25mg of steriods and Intralipids it worked - that could be a coincidence, but now believe what he says! You can get steriods from him, but he is expensive and you will need to pay for lots of blood tests x
