I have my transfer in the morning, feeling a little nervous. And my tummy aches like it does when my period is due. Donβt know if this is normal.
Can anyone remind me of all the post transfer things people do, Iβve heard of keeping your feet warm helps and eating some pineapple? ππ€·π»ββοΈ Hit me with all the old wife tales Please
thanks π

Hey there, exciting times wohoooo. Wishing you all the best of luck! I can share what I've been doing with my last two transfers, and what my consultant has suggested. Some of the things are a bit extreme, but I did follow them.
So for the first few days after the transfer he has suggested bed rest, which I don't agree with but just try to take things easy, no heavy lifting, dont push yourself too much.
Pineapple and avocado, mainly to prevent getting constipated.
Avoid caffeine, fizzy drinks. I was drinking only water, kefir and another yoghurt drink full of protein. I did bring a decaf coffee to the mix as im a coffee addict.
Avoid parsley, junk food. Try to eat healthy diet drill or protein, lots of greens ,fish, meat, milk, cheese, eggs.
And most importantly : laugh, smile and think positive! π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯° All the best of luck! X
Me neither. Obviously if you put couple of leaves when cooking is okay, but me and hubby we eat way too much parsley, I use like half a bunch in a salad only π
oh flip, I was eating parsley like nobodyβs business last week, I use it instead of lettuce! I was thinking I was eating all good things - leafy greens and all!
one more sleep. Good luck for tomorrow. My advice honestly would be to relax (as hard as that sounds) take it easy the first couple of days. Eat healthily and drink plenty water. Most importantly stay away from google or you will go crazy xxx
good luck for tomorrow ! Iv had 2 successful transfers , first one I kept my feet up and warm for a couple of days and rested, McDonaldβs chips straight after, watched feel good tv, second time I had a 14 month old to run around after so couldnβt really rest as much but had the chips and kept my feet warm, just drank plenty of water and he stuck too ππΌ
All the best, havenβt been for one but wanted to wish you well.
I just had my egg collection last Thursday and will be referencing your post when my turn for the transfer comes. Iβve started doing some of these while I wait with the hope that it prepares my body for the transfer.
there was a study done where clowns were brought into women who had just undergone a transfer and this improved results compared to a control group so the advice has been lots of laughs within 24 hours of transfer. Get a good comedy on!
This is a hectic process I guess it is normal to be nervous. Iβm glad you are excited.
When we started meds he said Il wait for a period which will come after I stop the meds.so I guess it will be frozen, apparently I reacted to the meds too quickly but seeing him on Wednesday. So far on Friday the clinic said out of the 4 eggs 2 were matured and fertilised so should get a day 3 update today since it fell on a weekend. Iβm so anxiousπ
oh I see! Hopefully you get your transfer soon . Good luck for your update today! I get so nervous waiting for the update calls! Bloody torture isnβt it xx
it really is,,, will keep you posted and check up on you as well. Sending you a big hug, love & light for today
Good luck with the transfer! We watched funny films/ TV after transfer & just did everything else fairly normally albeit taking it easy. I think we had lasagne & salad for tea being one of my faveβs. All about feeling good.x
good luck! I had a happy meal after my transfer π₯³ went to work the same day running around after 4 year olds and honestly I didnβt put too many rules around food. Itβs over to the embryo(s) now. Enjoy being PUPO! β₯οΈ
