I am 5dp5dt so am a huge bag of nerves. Feel some slight period like dull achey pains which are scaring me into thinking it hasn't worked. We had a 5aa hatching blastocyst transferred and it's my first time so I'm just a bit on edge that it hasn't worked

hello. I am 5dp5dt too. I am exactly the same although this is my 5th time 🤦‍♀️ I’ve had a few period type pains last night. But in general I’m feeling great no idea if this is a good or bad thing. Honestly best thing to do is take one day at a time. Don’t google that will drive you insane. Look after yourself and do somethings that make you feel good. I just binge watched desperate housewives hubby was like ‘erm’ 😂😂😂 xxx good luck to you … you’ve got this xxx just drop me a message if u need to chat xxx

ah amazing we are on the same time scale. When are you testing? I feel the same. I started having cramps yesterday which feel like I'm getting my period but not quite the usual. I also have been really hot at night sweating which is something I absolutely never do. I'm usually an ice queen!! I am rewatching the crown and enjoying some sofa time.

my otd isn’t until Monday the 3rd so I won’t be testing until then. I’ve never seen the point in testing early it just messes with the mind but that’s just me 😂 I’ll go to the clinic monday and get bloods taken and await the call xxx

aww yes I'm not testing until Sunday 2nd which is my otd. Fingers crossed we both see that 2nd line!! It's driving me crazy. I honestly hate this 2ww stuff!

Currently on day 10 of stims, last day at work thank the lord. Scan tomorrow then hopefully first ever egg collection on Thursday!

Really weird feeling in my lower stomach- more discomfort than pain, almsot feels like stuff is moving about….. hoping that is normal and just plenty of lovely big follicles!

good luck with your egg collection. It’s so exciting yet scary at the same time. You will be totally fine. One bit of advice is to lay off anything that would bung you up in the few days before, I had terrible constipation after the first collection apparantly it’s common so I just stayed away from bread pasta etc a few days before the second time and it was fine xxx

I was waiting for my appointment next Wednesday so i can do hysteroscopy and prepare for the next transfer, and then my period decide to show off very early for the first time in my life , im so worried even if the doctor says that could happen

oh my goodness I do this all the time it really does change your life even when your on a break from ivf. I find myself just passing time until the next attempt. I’m not sure how but I need to get out of that and start having fun again xxx

some days I do feel like I have no life! Just housework and work. Trying to be healthier so don’t really drink anymore, trying to save money as just spent £18k on IVF! Going out in a few weeks with the girls though which will be nice . 🥂😘

oh my goodness I totally understand even when I’m between ivfs I’m like should I eat this should I drink that 🤦‍♀️ And the money bloody hell we have spent tens of thousands 😱😱 I know it will be worth every penny if it works but it’s crazy the costs 😢 a girls night out sounds like an awesome idea xxx

hello! Hope you are well. I think I need a bit of encouragement! I'm waiting for my first appointment for my 4th cycle with donor eggs. Feeling pretty down as feel like I'm too old. I'll be 46 at the end of the year and sometimes wonder what I am doing! Any kind words would be appreciated!

a friend of mine just had her second baby at 46! She had her first (also through IVF) at 39 - tried a few times for a sibling and it didn’t work. Then decided to try one last time at 45, healthy baby girl born when she was 46 ☺️💫💪

honestly If you have love in your heart your never to old. I know people who have kids in there 20s and just have absolutely no time for them or want, to do anything with them and I know parents in there 40s/50s who are amazing. Xxx my granny is fantastic with my nieces and nephews and she’s 90. If you’ve got love and laughter your sorted xxx

thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. You are right. I think I compare myself to others and their lives. I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past year as well as an early chemical and a miscarriage a few years ago. I think I feel battered and bruised by the experience.xx
