A week ago on 22.07.22, we welcomed our precious little girl, Ava, into the world. 💕
The moment I saw her was just the most amazing moment. I cried my eyes out - the relief and happiness was on another scale.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me on here, answering my questions, giving me advice on immune treatment (which I think was critical in our success ) and generally spurring me on through the ups and downs.
i really hope this gives someone hope, esp. If you are in your 40s.
I nearly didn't even do IVF as the docs were very negative about chances at my age. And my successful round,my embryo was described as 'average'. My little girl is anything but average!
She can already lift her head, has a tight grip, can roll on her side and is a fiesty little thing!!! The midwives called her amazing Ava the day she was born!
So try not to get sucked into stats and scores - focus on you!!

Wonderful news! Beautiful baby and beautiful name. Mine could also lift her head up from birth - didn't know at the time it was unusual and means they're very strong which is great but just to warn you it also means they can also give you a pretty powerful headbutt!
Oh my god this is amazing. Thank u soo much for posting this. 😍😍 huge congratulations to you. Can I ask what blood thinners and immune stuff you did xxx
Oh my world, she is so perfect! Congratulations! I am also doing treatment for NK, can you tell me what did you do and which clinic?Wishing you a very happy life with your new addition x
Congratulations, am sure you are over the moon. You deserve. I am in my 40s too and have met with negative doctors. I am currently working with a positive doctor and have 2 day 3 embryos on ice. Am nervous and trying to keep faith. Was your rainbow 🌈 day 3 or day 5 transfer?
Congratulations 🥳! I hope they’re recording these stats for future hopefuls! I also am 41 and birthed my rainbow baby 7 weeks ago. And still have one in the freezer. Sounds like she has one super fantastic mummy xxx
