Hi ladies

It’s been a while ! So our first de transfer failed 😞 we had 2 a+a embabies & sadly bfn ..

We have 3 a+a left , I’m definitely suffering the loss hard this time & we have only just started to talk about our next transfer & journey back to Greece.

So I’m leaning towards have one transferred this time … any thoughts on this ladies ?

And aspirin… Iv read so many are proscribed it from their clinic but it’s not been in my protocol & my clinic don’t seem to think I need it ?

My lining was great & I responded well to my medication just wanting to add something to help implantation 🙏🏽 Definitely having Acupunture in the lead up to next transfer too

Much love

Sorry that your transfer didn't work. I've only ever had singles transferred (one each on fresh, BFPs but didn't get past 6 weeks, then successful first FET) but hopefully others on here can help you on the options of one vs two. Re aspirin, I asked if it might help after the two early losses - was looking for anything really - and my doctor said as I didn't have any diagnosed blood clotting issue (also had blood tests to confirm) he wouldn't prescribe it. But he said they didn't prescribe aspirin at all as if patients had a clotting issue, they'd put them on better meds to treat it. However, he said he had no problem with me taking it if it made me feel better, so I did for the FET (one, 75mg a day - no idea if that's a normal dose). I carried on to 12 weeks, after that much more sporadically as scans and other tests showed things were ok/low risk, and no-one seemed bothered whether I was taking it or not. But I think it's standard treatment in pregnancy if you have risk factors (high blood pressure etc). So maybe ask your clinic if they are ok with you taking it, and if so, you can just get it over the counter. Also, if you've not had progesterone monitored, ask for your progesterone to be checked on transfer and if you need any additional support - I think that's what made the difference for us. Best of luck.

I’m having donor treatment too. Our first transfers of a 5AA blastocyst ended in an MMC at 6+3 weeks. Our 2nd transfer of a 4AB was BFN.

My consultant and I discussed the following for our next go:

1) Empirical treatment with Canesflor and antibiotics to treat for endometritis and boost natural microbiome (you can do an EMMA/ALICE test to confirm infection)

2) ERA but not needed for me as I’ve been lucky enough to have had success in 2018 with my OE IVF so I know that my implantation window and progesterone levels have been ok before.

3) Aspirin or heparin - not advised as I don’t have a clotting disorder but she said I could take aspirin if I wanted

4) Steroid - general feeling is not harmful and could help

5) PGS test our embryos - we agreed we would if 3rd time failed

6) Double transfer to boost our chances

So we’re going with 1, 4 and 6. And I’ll consider aspirin x
