Hi,

Hey AJJ, I know this post is 3 months old now - I am alot behind you in my TTC journey. I have my first consultation with a private clinic on 13th July. I see you are about to start a short protocol - I have “undetectable AMH” at 0.6pmol/L and so I’m guessing I’ll be on a Mild IVF cycle when it all kicks off. What type of cycle did you do before, if you don’t mind me asking?
I am on my 2nd cycle of 5mg Letrozole and ai did get some mild cramping and “twinges” at about the same time that you did - I took that as a normal sign that follicles were doing something!!!
If you don’t mind, I’d like to follow your journey! 🌺
Thank you so much for reaching out.
So in 2018 I did an IVM cycle, it went well eggs were collected - no drugs involved other than one injection prior to egg collection.
I actually got pregnant from it, but the pregnancy wasn’t viable sadly.
I went onto femara a few months back 2.5mg for two cycles, so less than your dosage and I’m sure I ovulated. It just never “happened” for me.
Now I’m onto IVF. I don’t know how it’ll go, but I’m hopeful it’ll work out. I guess every time we reach another stage we have a little hope in our hearts because it’s a chance that we didn’t have before.
Good luck, I hope letrozole works out for you - I was up and down during those months but if it doesn’t get you pregnant and you get a chance of having ivf there’s still boxes to tick yet!
Xx
