Wee update from me... Am typing this from my hospital bed. Been in my local Maternity ward since last Thursday. I had a very heavy red bleed with clots, combined with severe cramping. Was very scary at the time and I was thinking the worst ! 🙈
Was a huge relief to hear baby’s heartbeat & find out I wasn’t going into early labour.
This was my first bleed this pregnancy so it just felt something wasn’t right.
We have been closely monitored and since I have a ‘slightly low lying placenta’ they feel the bleed came from there. As I haven’t had any bleeding in the last 24 hrs looking good for getting home today 🤞🏼
Due date is 28th April so wee bit to go yet....
Feel like we had a wee dress rehearsal for the real event and I was so glad I packed my hospital bags early !
Sending positive vibes to all IVF warriors on here, I salute you all 👏 It’s some journey 😘

What a worrying time!! However amazing news that heartbeat is fine and labour is not imminent!! 🎉
are you about 30 weeks? Just to put it in perspective if baby did arrive early (although hopefully got a few more weeks yet ! 🥰) I read a lovely story in the news today about the youngest Scottish baby born at 22 weeks, going home from hospital generally fine 😍😍😍
I’m itching to get to 30 weeks or more (am 26 weeks today!) it just feels so much better in case baby did come early or they need to get he/she out.
Am 31 weeks tomorrow, you are not far behind me and am sure it will pass quick. I found it passed super quick and have to pinch myself everyday that we have made it this far !!!
I have just read that beautiful heart warming story. What a little fighter 😀
So pleased to hear that you're okay and thank you for sharing your story. April isn't that far so I've crossed all my fingers and toes for you.
Just had a quick look at your profile. What did you do to get your top grade embryo at long last? Did you do anything differently? Any life style changes?
Oh what a worrying time for you... Couldn’t believe it when you wrote due date already in April, blimey that’s gone fast! At least that means you should be in the safe zone now almost irrespective what happens, what a relief! Still sorry to hear you had to go through this stressful experience. Glad you had your hospital bag packed and legged it there... and soon back out of the there by the sounds of it - even better! Wee little one, keep on growing just a tad longer! And keep us posted. Sending you strength, love and patience!
