Transfer of our last embie yesterday!

So, we did back to back frozen transfers. The last one was a big fat negative which really affected my hope levels for IVF. So this time, I'm hopeful but not expecting much. We've already organised our finances for another egg collection after this...but still I'm keeping everything crossed for this little one on board! 🀞🀞🀞🀞🀞

After transfer yesterday I ended up running around doing errands and got home pretty late. I also got a bad headache, cramps and ended up with a temperature πŸ€’ and having to take a nap. Then I could not sleep at night and woke at 3:30am with a headache.

Today I've been cramping (and sorry for TMI) but when my pessary leaks out it's slightly rosy discoloured! That's NEVER happened before! It's always white except for when my period comes! I am so hoping this isn't just "game over" the day after transfer! Could this just be irritation from the catheter used for transfer yesterday? Because it was a bit delayed (the day after) I'm so worked up and scared to go to the bathroom. I don't think it can be implantation bleeding because doesn't that happen a few days after transfer? πŸ˜‘ I didn't have implantation bleeding with my chemical on the first fresh transfer so I figured I wouldn't be a "implantation bleeder" going forward.

Did this happen to anyone else? I'm just hoping for a bit of comfort so I can try to enjoy the whole "maybe I'm pregnant" two week wait! Hubby is doing all the work around the house and being so sweet because he is so hopeful of this round and I want to enjoy this hopeful period before getting a result that may really really suck πŸ˜”

Hi there, sorry to hear about your chemical and unsuccessful round. On both my transfers my clinic advised me I may get bleeding the day of or day after transfer, which is caused by irritation of the catherta. I wouldn't worry, it sounds completely normal to me. Wishing you all the best of success. I'm 5dp5et and driving myself mad trying to symptom spot. Hope u enjoy the 2ww PUPO πŸ‘

Hi Belangalo. You've just got to have a rest when you can. The catheter could have irritated your cervix, but keep an eye out for any infection - temperature and smell! The medication in the pessary absorbs within 20-30 minutes, so whatever leaks after that is not needed. Hopefully all will settle down with some rest and plenty of water to drink. Thinking of you. Diane
