I had embryo transfer on Monday and my official test date is the 24th.
I am 42 and we only had 1 egg make it and we had a 3 day transfer so this is our only chance.
The waiting is so hard, I am trying to remain positive and keep busy but my mind constantly wonders and I evaluate every single twinge, which I know could be the pessaries but I am clinging onto every little hope I can.
I would love to hear positive stories and from anyone in the same position

I too am in the 2ww....it sends you barmy!! Had my FET on Tuesday. I had a successful round FRET in 2017 and now have a little boy 💙. I remember the 2ww being difficult then too...so hard as any little twinge makes you think into things!Try to stay calm...I went for a walk yesterday and tried to keep busy.
Some would say, we are currently pregnant until proved otherwise 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Sending you the best of luck and hope this little embryo implants for you xxx
Thank yo so much for replying and so lovely to hear you've had a successful cycle before.
You're right this 2ww is soooo hard. I had a little walk on Tuesday as the doctor told me to do and I have followed ever rule and recommendation to a T!
I have carried before to full term so I am just hoping that gives me a better chance as I know I can carry, that's what I am clinging onto anyway.
Yes i have read that we are currently PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise)!
I just have to remain positive but getting the new yesterday that our other 2 embryo's aren't progressing any further (day 5 yesterday) was a massive blow as it took our back up plan away.
When is your test day?
Did you test early last time or do as you were told?
Masses of luck to you too that your little boy gets a sibling xxxx
Test day is 23rd and I don’t plan to test before. I didn’t last time either...I was actually scared to do it on the day...because I thought it would be negative...What day is your test day? X
It’s a nightmare time! It’s so so hard. I think it’s particularly hard in this current situation as we have more time on our hands to worry! I’ll be joining you on Tuesday, fingers crossed, as that’s when my transfer is due. Hang in there, thinking of you xx
I think you're right, as we can't do much time seems to go slower! I am still working, albeit from home, but ironically it isn't busy at the moment so I am just watching the clock!
Oh goodness, I’m the Queen at clock watching!! Thank you. This is my third transfer and I had another one cancelled due to a thin lining. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for all in this boat xx
Hi! I had my first fet on Tuesday and am testing on 23 jan as the date given to me. So far I’ve just slept and chilled on the sofa. Not even been for a walk but I am going for acupuncture today. I’m back in work next week so enjoying the time off albeit I’d normally be more active so the days are going slower 🙄
Arh enjoy the rest! I had a gentle walk on Tuesday as I was advised too and I plan to do the same again today but nothing strenuous! I’m following the rules to a T! I’m actually being slightly anal about it and I know I am but I can’t stop myself.
You test the day before me. Have you bought a kit yet? I’m holding off because I don’t want to jinx anything hahaha xxx
No I haven’t bought a test but will do. I won’t do it earlier though as it won’t be accurate so it’s just waste of a test and they are expensive enough 🙃
I agree, there is no way I will do early, it's just not worth it. I'm hanging out for the full 14 days!! Please keep in touch, I'd love to hear how everyone has got on and hopefully all the success stories
Hi! I’m in the 2ww too, test day is the 20th! I had ICSI in 2017 and now have a 3 year old and did a FET last week, but I’m still analysing every twinge and cramp, I think it’s only natural. Especially when we now really have no control over the outcome it’s hard to just do nothing!
I also want the time to go faster but I’m also scared to test 🙈 drives your mind crazy!
You're 4 days before me on testing. Or you having any symptoms? I seem to be obsessing about the spotting / mild bleed which hasn't occurred :/
You're right we have no control over this and it's only natural that the negatives pop up in your head, mine are my age: so egg quality, no back up plan: so if this doesn't work then that's it for us! ARGH!!!!
Sometimes I think I have symptoms then sometimes I think I’m making them up lol. I am having quite a lot of cramping and occasional headaches but that’s it. I’ve never had any spotting before and this is my second FET.
Hi ! i am in 2 WW as well , i did my FET on Tuesday 12th January and today i had some spotting which worried me but nothing to do except waiting . finger crossed for all 🤞
Hi there, im currently in the ttw. Im 35 and this is my first icsi. I had 2 day 3 embryos transferred and not due to test until 24th as well. Its been sooo long this wait, plus I'm currently off work so makes it go slower. How are you feeling? For the first couple of days i felt symptoms but now nothing bar the odd twinge so not sure if all has just settled from the procedures or maybe just hasn't worked but trying my best to stay positive. Sending lots of luck to you 🙏🤞💖xx
My test date is on Saturday🙏 Last time I coldnt resist doing it earlier (I did it on 10dp3dt..and it was negative...and blood test after just confirmed negative) This time I’ll try to wait until Saturday...it is sooo hard🙄 I’m trying to be busy...go walking, doing anything...😅 I have almost no symptoms...😬 dont know if its good or not...ok, Im sorry for too much info...Best wishes to you too🍀❣️
Hi! I am 38 and had my single embryo day 3 transferred yesterday ! So we are synced up quite well. What meds are you on now ? My doc prescribed an antihistamine regimen I’m a little worried / uneducated about. Anyone been told to start Zyrtec/ prednisone/ baby aspirin/ Prilosec ?
Im taking progesterone - pessaries 3x and injections every 3rd day...and also blood thinners in the evening. I have headaches, some strange sweating...and waking up at 4am/5am...🙄 To be honest...struggling a lot to stay positive😔
Hi, I was told to take some gentle walks to help the embryo implant, but I’ve done nothing more than that other than usual day to day tasks. I’m not just on the pessaries, 3 times a day.
Other than that it’s now just a waiting, hoping and praying game. When is your test date? xxx
No I’ve not had that but I guess we are all different and they tailor the process to our needs. Not long to go now for you! Hang on in there abs best of luck xxx
I've had an ovulation induction cycle woth injectables and now on estrofem/progesterone so in 2ww too...test date 25th..im starting to find time is dragging and im worrying about symptoms coming and going....arrghh going to be another long 7 days
Not too bad actually, I took the time off work so I could relax. I think I’m going to test early on Friday though, I had a 5 day blastocyst transferred so I think it should show the result on day 11. How are you coping? Xx
I’m on my 2ww as well had transfer on 16th January my test date is 30th January
I had donor egg had 2 eggs transferred I’m 43 so after 3 failed attempts with my own eggs advised donor would be a better option
I’m stuck in the house as we have to isolate for 10 days after returning from Spain haven’t bought any tests so I can’t be tempted to test as I can’t even go out to buy any
Best of luck to you too! Try to just relax and not think about it or over analyse everything or you will drive yourself mad.
I really hope this time it works for you and you get 2 beautiful babies from those embryos xx
I am on a 2ww with FET with a hatching 5AA embryo. I think lockdown has made everything worse as I am analysing everything... or more the fact I have no feelings. Bloating due to progesterone but nothing else. I am meant to test on the 27th but am going to wait for the weekend... I had a failed cycle last time so am very nervous this time.
I had a natural pregnancy with my husband 4 years ago and I don't remember many pregnancy symptoms other than needing to pee (and a blocked nose) but I think that's it. Is everyone getting symptoms? I am glad I am not doing the 2WW alone!!
I am on two week wait but already driving myself insane. Am 3dp5dt. Felt quite crampy today so not feeling too optimistic. Want the days to speed up 😂. My test date is 1st feb
Hang on in there ladies, you’ve got this. I’m now 3 days away from testing and I’m not going to cave and do it early!
Symptoms come and go but at the moment it’s lower back ache and peeing a lot! I get the odd twinge / cramp but that may just be because I’m noticing every single thing my body does at the moment and nothing more.
Try to relax and keep yourself busy, without over doing it, time will feel like it’s dragging but remain positive xxx
Best of luck. Well done for holding out for your otd. I have three babies by ivf already. I am very lucky but I couldn't leave the last frosties on their own. Although I have been through it at at it lots of times before. It doesn't get any easier and it is if your brain forgets it all. I can't remember what symptoms I had with the 3 successful rounds. They all differed. So I know deep down until that otd you just really don't know. Sending you lots of good luck baby dust. X
