Help please, I have been experiencing constant headaches n sweats for the past week . I called the nurse to get advice but she has not reverted back. What could the problem be?🤕🤕

I’m 14+6 and I have been getting headaches since 13 odd weeks they are really sore and annoying :( I think it’s common to get headaches in the second trimester x

Cmc2020 thanks for the reply, I was starting to wonder if I need to go check my blood pressure.

If I keep getting them I’m going to ask my midwife about high blood pressure I don’t know if it’s the heating in my house as well when I put it on really hope I don’t get one today as I’m working 🥺 your welcome x

I’ve had hot flushes and palpitations early in in my pregnancy aswel just went away eventually and headaches quite often I always think am I dehydrated

Have you taken your temperature? Just incase it is not pregnancy related! Maybe you have an infection?

I have not yet tested but is that a symptom?

Yes, headaches are a major symptom. I would say if you have no other symptoms perhaps not. But since you mentioned sweating, do you know if you’ve had a fever?

I too suffered from severe headaches....Im now 23wks and they have relented a bit but boy its hard going. Try drinking extra fluids, our bodies need more fluid that normal when pregnant especially as the blood volume in our bodies increase and hormones. You can take paracetamol (which is of little help but its better than nothing) and have a hot shower where you can put your head under the stream of water, I find that helps me. Also I got the 4head stick which actually really helps too - I wasn't much of a believer in a menthol stick but it really does help if you apply it regular when you have a sore head and the biggest thing is try to do all of these things as soon as you feel it coming on. Hope you are feeling better soon, Cmc2020 these things may help you too.xx

I found it really hard to keep on top of the drinking water for the headaches but I do think it helped along with the meds if necessary and the 4head stick.xx
