OTD *Sensitive? * feeling worried

Hi ladies, sorry for the constant posts. So today at 8dp5dt it's my OTD and the only test I had left was the one the hospital gave me and the line is nothing like I was getting yesterday on FRER.

I've spoken to the hospital and they don't do blood tests which I didn't know. The nurse is going to speak to someone since I sound so anxious and explain that todays test is faint then call me back.

Why am I not celebrating my BFP. Is there much of a difference between the nhs tests and frer? And could it be down to my test date being so early? cant seem to find anything online.

FRER tests are about 4 x more sensitive than other tests so thats why you see a much darker line on FRER. You are definitely pregnant, congratulations x

Thank you, I just didnt feel reassured and with no blood test I really dont want to spend christmas non stop testing. I thought I would be on top of the world today x

I totally understand why you are worried going through this, but from an outside point of view, those lines look 10/10. If you are still worried you can pay for the blood test, but I would try and relax and think positive thoughts. p.s congratulations 😀 XX

Thank you xx, ive just ordered loads of frer and clearblue digital 🙈. I purposely only bought enough to use up to yesterday amd now im online ordering batches. No blood test and waiting for weeks is torture x

Just a thought....are you reading the hospital test the right way around? It looks although the test line is darker than the control line which is what happens when hCG is high?! I could be wrong as I'm not familiar with this kind of test but double check. What brand is it?xx

I've just called them, she said they forgot to highlight that they are testing a week earlier due to xmas so it should be faint and that eveyone that has called today has said the same. I feel a bit better, and also got a million tests arriving tomorrow 🙈

Ha ha ha we've all been there!🙋🏼‍♀️ Nobody prepares you for the anxiety that comes with a BFP. Hopefully all will be well, good luck....fingers and toes crossed for you!xx

Go out and get another test if you’re worried, but all looks good. Blue dye tests are not so great so i wouldn’t worry too much.
