9dpt 5dt still negative!!! Help😭😭😭

Hi everyone hope you all are doing great? I know is been awhile, so my pregnancy was perfect, gave birth at 37w 5d to a beautiful health baby girl. Have had a lot of challenges with life this past year not with my kid but life in general. So we decided to go for our second baby, and the doctor said was going to be a natural FET transfer without medication, which we finally did last week Friday. Now am 9dpt 5dt without no positive HPT have been testing since 6DPT and Notting till now and tomorrow is my bata day am so scared is going to up negative. But I have funny symptoms like, tasteless mouth and back cramping which sometimes make me feel like AF is coming tonight. Please has anyone ever had a negative HPT and got a positive blood test? Please help out🙏🙏 and losing it. Thank you all in advance❤️❤️

Hi Abi. Have you tried first response as they are much more sensitive. I have heard of late implanters on here but haven't got experience of it myself. I know this journey is so hard. Like yourself I'm trying to give my little boy a sibling and my most recent round has just ended in an early miscarriage. Will you try again? Hope you get your BFP tomorrow xxx

They're called "first response"

I think they pick up very small amounts of HCG so I would have thought if you were pregnant it would show up. However there's always someone who is the exception. Most recently on here a lady didn't get her BFP until 16dp but I think that's quite unusual. X

I'm in the same exact boat as you! Negative at day 9 post 5 day FET...but I've been using cheap tests. With my son, I had a BFP the day prior to my beta. I'm trying not to compare but it's hard not to.

I'm hoping we're just late implanters?

Today (11/23) is my 10 day beta test so I'll let you know what it comes back as.

I've had some pre Aunt Flow activity happening too but I've heard that is normal.

Thank you for your reply, was with the doctor for a blood test this morning. I told him my hpt was negative, he said if Is negative than is going to possibly be the same with blood test. Still ask my to do it just to be sure. Will let you know my results later. Fingers crossed

Yes I have my blood test this morning. I don't agree that if your HPT is negative you won't get a positive blood test. There's a reason they don't test our blood until day 10-14 which is much more accurate than a HPT (especially if we didn't use the First Response brand).

Our HCG levels may just be lower that what an HPT can pick up.

Of course, it's always promising to see a positive on the HPT because that means that the blood levels will likely be a good baseline number.

I read in another forum yesterday that one girl didn't have a positive HPT until day 11!

Ahh hun I'm so sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I probably have a negative test too. They just drew it right now so it'll be a few hours. 😬

Is ok we will get better. Just going to wait for my AF to start than make an appointment for other transfer am happy I still have 5 embryos left. Good luck with ur results ❤️

That's great! I had 4 embryos but only 1 survived the thawing process prior to the transfer. We will need to start from scratch again. 😬

Mine was also a negative. So maybe the 9 day post urine test is a good indicator of positive and negative. On to another egg retrieval!

Sorry to see you got a negative 😔 will you be trying again? Am looking to give me boy sibling next year and got two frozen embryos am so nervous to try again 🙈 xx

I’m really sorry, I know how you feel, I had two failed transfer and one chemical... it’s really difficult to deal with after what we are going through with IVF. Look after yourself and I’m wishing soon you get to try again and get you BFP. Xx
