3BB embryo

Hi ladies completed a cycle of IVF i am 35 years old. I have three graded day 5 embryos 3BB quality. Has anyone had any success with this grade or 3bc?

Hi sunset I’ve just had a 3bb 5day embryo put back and my nurse reassured me it was great quality so I’m keeping everything crossed 🤞 best of luck to you xx

Very sorry to hear this. It so hard at times going through treatment. I suffered an early miscarriage in 2018 after an iui cycle, a successful cycle will happen soon for you. Make time to have a thorough discussion with your consultant going forward. All the best for your future treatment xx

I had 2 Grade B’s (my clinic only gave one letter) put in and was told 50-60% chance of pregnancy but only 35% chance of live birth.

I got my BFP last week and have the viability scan in 2 weeks.

Wow i bet you are so excited, no doubt a tad shocked!! Amazing news. Do you mind me asking how old you were when your embryos were created ? Congratulations :). How amazing if it was one of each gender?!! xx

I’ll be 39 next week so 38+10 months. It’s our first cycle after 2 years of TTC. I was so incredibly lucky that I responded to well to the treatment xx

I have an extract from a report from a large study once which had % success rates against all the different blastocyst gradings per transfer - I think 3BB were in the region of 18% but once it gets to 4BB/5BB which it should once they’ve thawed it the success rate jumps to 38%

That sounds promising. yes i read somewhere too that they can quickly expand on thaw and of course grading can improve if they were left longer so i suppose the grade is just an observation at that time. Fingers crossed. Hoping to transfer early in the New year.

Having three 5-day blastocysts regardless of grading is an great place to be! Best of luck with transfer! Are you going to transfer one or two? Xx

Thank you very much jengi, yes i am finding that a positive slant having 3 of the same grade, thinking one will be a goodun hopefully! It will be in the new year soon after we go into 2021 now just circumstantial reasons at the moment. xx

Hi, in my second round I had a 3BB, a 3BC and a not really gradeable day 5s put back and I got a singleton BFP. Sadly I lost it but that was for other reasons. its definitely possible to get pregnant with a grade 3! Good luck xx
