I posted the other day saying I had some blood when wiping went for a scan and everything was fine as soon as the screen came up I could see the baby moving was crazy! The lady was great when I told her we had ivf she was so happy for us even though we had just met.
The only thing she said was I’m 9 weeks 2 days I thought I was 9 weeks tomorrow I no there isn’t much difference but do I go from todays scan.
For anyone else who has had blood the lady said she believed it was just old blood and had a good look around and couldn’t see any problems. Just want to give some reassurance as this might be the case sometimes I no it’s hard to get to this point and not worry💖

If it’s ivf go by your dates. I was told at my first scan that with ivf my dates won’t change... but sometimes because the babies are so small the measurements can be a little off. Nothing to worry about though... especially if your little one is a little bigger I imagine as your baby gets bigger that your dates / measurements will match up. Mine have pretty much to the day and I’m 30 + 4 weeks now...x
When I went to my viability scan they told me I was 7 weeks bang on but went for my 12 week scan at 11w5d and they told me I was 12w2d so only 4 days out and moved my due date by 4 days x
Congrats on your scan! I measured 4 days ahead at my 12 week scan but as it’s IVF she said they won’t move the dates. Think that varies hospital to hospital though!xx
I just had a scan 2 days ago...I should of been 9 weeks but scan was showing 9+3. Lady said they go off first scan and that scans can be either 4 days plus or minus. I wish we could go off the new scan I'd rather be 9+3 than 9 lol closer to the safer 12 week mark 😁 many congrats to you xx
Congratulations lovely. I'm so glad everything is okay for you. I have also been given two different dates. My IVF date would mean my due date is 9/10 but NHS keep telling me I should be due on 15/10. I've had private scans too and there dates are all over the place in October. I'm sticking to NHS dates.
