Hi ladies I'm 13weeks pregnant and the twins are well. My question is can I take parcetmol? I'm having these crazy headaches which last all day. I'm drinking plenty of water but it's not helping.

Any advice?

Hi reer

Yes paracetamol is fine to take its the only thing i was aloud when i was pregnant and my little girl is 21weeks now it can make babys a bit sleepy but that is but you can ask your midwife to make sure as your having twins x

Thank you

Congrats on your BFP. Sorry you are suffering with headaches. Paracetamol is totally safe in pregnancy xxx

As far as I know paracetamol is fine.

Yes paracetamol is fine.

I have started to get really bad headaches too and nothing is budging it , my midwife said when your hormones hit a peak this can cause them and more so with twins, hope you feel better soon ❤ xx

Hi I am only 4 weeks pregnant and have the worst migraines. I spoke to my gp today as paracetamol just doesn’t shift it and he said I can take cocodomol and ibuprofen (not that they have helped either). I would maybe speak with your gp x

sorry you are going through this!

My fertility clinic told me ibuprofen was not good And that I could only take paracetamol! My problem at the time was that I was having some high fever!

Good luck! Hope you get better soon!

Thank you for the advice. I've been in bed 12 hours now. Its shifted. But for how long will speak with GP today.

Yes paracetamol is fine. I had all day headaches for a few weeks and some migraines in early pregnancy and was all i could take. My Dr still advised not to take more than absolutely needed though!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! 13 weeks it’s a milestone 😍

Paracetamol is totally safe in pregnancy! I had some fever after my second FET and the doctor at the fertility clinic told it was safe to take paracetamol!

Hope you get better soon!

Xx

Congratulations

My dr told me to only take paracetamol but I could take up to 8 tablets a day but if you take continuously it could also make headaches worse.

Wishing you all the best xxx

Yes,that's what I've been advised thanks. How did you get round it? How long will these last?

Hiya, sorry I can’t remember how long the headaches lasted as I suffered with headaches on a few of my pregnancies but mine started not long after starting on all the meds xxx

Hi Reer. Paracetamol is safe to take in pregnancy, but no anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Keep up with the water too. Hope you soon feel better. Diane

Have you tried the forehead rub? Worked great in my 1st pregnancy as I didn’t like taking paracetamols x

Il get that, as I'm not keen on taking the tabs. Thank you

Home bargains sell a cheaper version for £2-£3 which is exactly the same as the 4head x

Hi all thanks for your comments. I went to the dr and told him about these migraines. He told me to take 2 paracetamol every 4 hours if they persist.
