Hi all, quick question. I know it depends on what type of IVF you are doing but when do you start taking either the nasal spray (naferelin) or the injection (buserelin). Is it the day you start your period? I have my nurse consultation tomorrow (excited!) and my period is due in 9 days so would I be lucky enough to start my first cycle of IVF this month?

Hi, good luck tomorrow. For me I was taking buserelin and I didn't have to wait for my period. I was on a standard protocol and I was told I could just pick any day convenient for us. We also took injections at 10pm and this worked really well for me. X

Hiya, on my previous cycles, I've started buserelin on day 18 ( most people start on day 21 but I have slightly shorter cycles). I'm now on synarel (naferelin) as of Tuesday, which was day 18 xx
