12 week scan update 💕 (SENSITIVE)

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my 12 week scan, I was incredibly nervous but everything went really well.

Our little baby was busy moving around and it was so precious to see. It’s incredible how much it’s changed since our last scan three weeks ago. 🌈🥰

Me and hubby are so overjoyed, I never thought I would be lucky enough to be here. I thought I would have a long battle ahead of me so I feel extremely lucky given the circumstance.

Thank you to all of the wonderful ladies for all of your advice and wisdom. I hope each and everyone one of you get your little miracles. 💖

No more issues so far thanks. Have a private scan booked in for 2 weeks time (at almost 9 weeks) just for a bit more reassurance x

Thank you lovely, we are over the moon with joy. I seen your last scan picture and baby was in a great position. At my 7 week baby was hiding in a little ball so didnt see it property until week 9. I hope your both doing great xx

I just keep staring at our scan pictures in disbelief that we have been so lucky 💕 Just wanted to check in to see how your feeling as I know you werent too well? I was so nauseous and its only starting to ease off now. Is your 12 week scan this week? xxx

I've actually been off work for the last week as was struggling to keep food down. So looking forward to our scan - it's tomorrow! Feeling bit nervous but think it is the boost I need right now as been feeling a bit miserable with all the sickness 😉

You poor thing, I hope it gets better for you soon. The nausea put me off tv, the internet, amongst other silly things haha practically everything - was so strange. I've now moved onto acid reflux which is just wonderful

Our scan went really well 😍 was such an amazing experience! Everything is progressing well and we are actually measuring ahead so they reckon I'm 13wks + 1 today.

Yay thats wonderful news 💖 so pleased for you. Its so nice to see them moving around, as it makes it feel a bit more real with everything we have al been through.

The 20 week scan feels like a lifetime away, so I have caved in and booked an early gender scan as im dying to know the gender

That's so exciting that you have booked an early gender scan. I'm really tempted to arrange a 4D scan as think it's absolutely fascinating.

The scan I booked includes a 4D scan too, super excited about seeing that. Thank you lovely, think ill have the acid reflux for a long while yet but nothing i cant cope with. xxx

We had a 4D bonding scan at 28 weeks ,it was an amazing experience. We had to come back later as our daughter wouldn’t play ball she always a bit naughty at scans 🤣 For the £100 we got a few videos of her, a load of pictures on a usb stick & 2 coloured pictures of our choice. We purchased a teddy bear with her heartbeat recorded in it & a key ring each.

I also recommend a bump to baby photo shoot 👍 did mine through virgin it was a Christmas present from my mum.

It is lovely to record these precious moments 😍 xoxo

That sounds so lovely, thank you for the recommendations. I want it all as im so excited to welcome our little one. I love the idea of the heart beat teddy too, how precious.

I think I will be getting a few private scans along the way just to get a glimpse of our little one for reassurance.

I am worried ours wont play ball either, you almost expect it. I checked with the place that were getting our scan at and they offer a free rescan if baby wont cooperate fewwww!

I have booked a private scan too as it seemed like a long wait between 12 and 20 weeks. I just want to make sure they are ok and managed to find a deal on Groupon so booked one at 16 weeks. Still undecided on finding out the gender so might just be a reassurance scan for us!

I know what you mean, those 8 weeks feel like a lifetime. I might just book a few private scans for reassurance along the way if I have long waits. Does yours include the 4D scan? I've heard that you can ask them to write the gender down and pop it in an envelope incase you change your mind - although that would be to tempting to look xxx

I wish I could have a scan every week Luckily we didnt have a long wait at the hospital as I was on edge, was such a relief to see baby moving around and growing nicely.
