PAYMENT IN CYPRUS

Hello, I am after some advice from anyone having IVF treatment in Cyprus regarding payment. Is it normal for the clinics in Cyprus to ask for payment by cash? We find it strange as to why bank transfer is not accepted. It is a lot of cash to travel with.

They also want the payment on the day of egg collection whereas we would prefer to pay once the egg transfer has been completed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Can pm me. I thought I paid 50% upfront on collection and the balance on transfer could pay anyway but that was in Greece.

Hi, we’ve used a Cyprus clinic and paid everything up front, although it was via bank transfer rather than cash. We felt uncomfortable with it the first time but by the second trip we were comfortable with what we were receiving.

Payment at EC is the norm but they should accept bank transfer or credit card payment.. xxx
