Congrats. Very exciting. In northern ireland too and going private with GCRM while we wait on NHS. Consent appointment 31st and hopefully start straight away as if successful still want to have time before my 39th birthday to get back on waiting list for a sibling. Turn 38 at start of Feb so cutting it close. What protocol are you on? Do you know when u start? Looking forward to following your story and wishing you lots of luck.x

Aw i really hope you get started straight away to fit both in! Theyve moved as quick as my cycles have allowed for us...Im on antagonist protocol.. start tablets on the 9th feb and start injections on the 22nd... thank you!! xo

Aw excellent. They have suggested i do flare protocol. Think it starts on day 21. Have my consent on 31st jan which is my day 3 of cycle so be starting towards end of Jan i hope all being well. My 38th birthday is 9th feb when you start so should still be time if i'm lucky enough to succeed. Only about 30 percent chance with my age/AMH but i think i'm in denial and convinced it all going to go according to plan. Not sure if thats a good thing or will bite me on the bum because i haven't prepared myself. Are you full of optimisim or trying to reign it in and prepare yourself? At least we still have the free go ahead i guess and you might get extra lucky and have some to freeze as well. Really hope so.

Aw hopefully you should be able to start on the first day 21 then.. we just had to wait a little longer because my husband had to have a sperm retrieval as well.. we shouldnt be too far apart then in times of treatment.

I tried to reign myself in but I just cant help but be excited and convince myself its going to work.. and sure I think its better to be happy during the cycle rather than stressing that it wont work!

Yeah its great the free go will still be an option..im hoping well be lucky enough to use that go for a sibling too!

Thanks no we only got married in April. Finally found the love of my life and when it didnt happen in first 5 months i got worried and got tests done privately. Still really didn't think there would be an issue it was just taking a while. Finding out my husband had poor sperm and i also had such a ridiculously low AMH hit us like a tonne of bricks. We had just moved house and i'd got a new job and it really has put a cloud over a time when we should be celebrating with so much other stuff finally falling into place. We promised we'd get through it together but 'm not gonna lie we have started snapping at eachother quite a bit and i just hope it doesn't spoil things. Anyway we are all doing what we can here but the sooner this journey is over the better. Sending lots of positive thoughts. It's great they were able to get some good sperm from your other half. It only takes one and with the ICSI it sounds like you've jumped the biggest hurdle and its only a matter of time. Hope that time is short and 1st round works a treat.x looking forward to your updates

aw congratulations on the wedding! its a horrible feeling isnt it when you get that news.. nobody ever warns you having a baby could be this difficult..I went through plenty of miserable days too..and we argued plenty. but i have to say im sooo much happier since ive been with GCRM and us two are better now than ever... so i hope its the same for you! xo
