Blood test at 7 dp 5 day FET - too early?

Hi.

My clinic sent me for my bloods at 7 days after my 5 day FET. It was negative. Is that not to early to show results?

7 days is a bit early I always get a blood test at 9dp5dt and from all the ladies on here its the earliest I've come across. But every clinic is different. I think with a blood test tho it can pick up ANY trace of HCG in your system. I'm very sorry about your BFN they are truly rubbish 😓💔💕xxx

Thanks Nikib1980. Have you ever heard of negative bloods that were incorrect?

Sorry hun but I doubt it. Unfortunately blood tests dont lie they pick up anything in your blood. But test again if you dont get your period xxx

I don’t understand why they test you so early. I’ve just said this on your other thread but we aren’t told to test officially until 11dp xx

I'm sorry for the negative result but that does seem very early. Have you double checked with your clinic that they haven't made a mistake about your dates? xx

The clinic confirmed that the policy for testing 5 day blasts is 7 days after transfer. Today is day 28 of my cycle. I should test again on Monday if AF has not arrived yet (today is day 29).

That does seem early as my clinic test on 11dp. Maybe wait a few days and test again? Xx

Spoke to my clinic. If AF does not happen over the weekend I must test again on Monday.

Fingers crossed then 🤞xx

My clinic doesn't test until day 16 (they dont do bloods just send you a test) but they wouldnt accept any positive or negatives before that date - thats 4 days later than yours and they say anything earlier will give a false response. Makes me think they have made an admin error and I definitely think you are still in the game. good luck xx

Spoke to the clinic. Their policy for 5 day blasts is to test on day 7. But since today is day 28 of my cycle and no AF yet, I must test again on Monday if nothing yet.

I agree with the others. Never in my life and none of all the thousands of posts i have read have ever had testing this early. Definitely continue with your meds (if you are on any) and test again in a couple of days.

And yes, I have seen people tested this early (against the instruction from the clinic) and got a negative, only to go on and get a positive on otd. I would definitely say it's not over yet. Xx

Thanks Camillage. I am still taking the meds, although I skipped them on day 7 when I heard I was negative. I am now praying for a miracle.

Sounds like really early for testing and to be honest why they then wants us to test week later, very odd to me xxx
