IVF HCG??

Hello ladies ,

Hope everyone is doing great on their own way .

My sister had IVF and after 15 days of transfer the HCG level was 10, they asked to repeat the test after 2 days .. is there any hope to get positive ??? She is so stressed and scared..

Hi, I didn't have this exact issue, but I have the info sheet from my clinic in front of me about it. It says that anything over 2 tells us that a pregnancy has occurred. I believe that in a healthy pregnancy the HCG levels just double and double and continue to go up until a really high number. So the test in two days should hopefully reveal that it has doubled - that would indicate that it is doing okay.

I'm no expert but I've definitely read plenty of posts on here about ladies with low HCGs. You might want to search around for them. Best of luck. My fingers are crossed for her xx

Yes, I know, it is so hard. You are doing the right things in being supportive. The two week wait is so tough, and then having to wait another two days - my heart goes out to her. The only advice I can possibly give is for her to try and distract herself from this - reading, netflix, work...anything that can take her mind off it for a few mins is helpful. x

Hi luv2017. Just read this. Any hCG reading is a positive sign. All she can do is keep everything crossed that the number has increased lots by tomorrow when she is tested again. Good luck! Diane

Ya thanks , took the test again today and waiting for the result , she will receive a call in 1 hour ..
