Did my test on otd which was positive. I was very underwhelmed though as it was so faint. I phoned the clinic and the nurse said that it will be faint because it’s so early.
I stupidly took another one this evening after spending the afternoon with my friend drinking decaf coffee and a lemonade before taking it. It looks even fainter! I feel horribly sad now.
Had quite a few symptoms, my awful breast tenderness eased off a bit today which worried me as well but the nurse said after initial implantation hormone surge our bodies can settle back down again. Felt very sick this morning and been more hungry. I’ve been tired too.
Does anyone think that this could all be okay? I just want a strong positive why does it always have to be a worry?!
Xx

It sounds ok to me. A positive is a positive. The faintness of the line can be affected by how dilute your urine is, which you can’t control for. First morning urine tends to show the lines best just because your urine is more concentrated then.
My boobs have gone in and out of being sore throughout my pregnancy so far. I’m now 25 weeks and they’re not really sore at all but other people’s are. It’s all a mystery and mind game. I hope everything works out for you- keep the faith xx
Am starting to get excited now but I won’t lie, the worry never goes away. But then I think that’s probably true of parenthood too.
Like the others have said. A positive is a positive. Your faint line could definitely be due to dilution of the hcg hormone as it is strongest in the morning. I would try again in the morning xxx
I emailed first response because I was driving myself mad with the colour of the lines and they said a positive is a positive no matter what the darkness of the line or the control line. Keep positive! Xx
Only ever test like for like tests now. Do the same time each day and try to leave it 36 hours between tests. The line should get visably darker each time. Lighter would be a very bad sign but not under the circumstances you’ve described.
You will worry, every day now until your scan (and that’s not the end of it) so if your line is darkening switch to clear blue digital weekly to see the weeks increasing.
It’s nerve wracking. I’ve had a few chemical pregnancies and the disappointment after the initial joy is crushing...... but you do get through it. Hopefully that’s not the case for you, everything crossed good luck 💕
I agree with all the other ladies. A line is a line and the time of day and diluteness (don’t think that’s a word) of the urine all effects. Take it a day at a time. Got all my fingers crossed for you.xx
