Cramps

Hi I'm currently roughly 5 weeks pregnant after having fet on 17th July. Had quite a painful cramp last night which lasted a few minutes which has scared me as felt similar to the last two failed cycles! Woke up to very pale pink discharge after wiping!! What is this? 😢😢 xxx

I can’t tell you what it is, but cramps aren’t always a bad sign. Just take it easy for a few days now, & if the cramps worsen, or the pink turns red, contact your clinic or early pregnancy unit for advice. Rest up!! xx

Of course it is! We had the same thing at about 6 weeks, but all was ok. 🤞🏼 xx

It's turn dark red/brown and stringy! Which looks like old blood! Waiting on clinic to call me back with advice/reassurance xxx

They advise to up your progesterone. Usually they don't worry until you fill a pad in under an hour - and even then people have been ok. Wishing you all the best xxx

Clinic called they just said it could be the pessaries that's caused it or just old bleeding which I kinda thought it was! Suggested putting pessaries in the other way but not keen on that! They weren't concerned as it's pretty common so I feel better now it's it has eased off now xxx
