Late period

So just been playing the waiting game (not very well 😳) made all the right changes to my diet and have had 3 full 28 day cycles, periods are a lot more manageable, last month I didn’t even need tampons so I could leave the house! Making progress!

This month I got to day 28 and nothing, thought ok, might be 1 or 2 days over, no big deal, must be on its way as I was cramping and spotting, by day 30 still nothing, now I’m on day 32 and still no sign of my period, other than slightly heavier spotting and constant dull cramps, now headache and the usual symptoms that tell me I’m getting my period, only not bleeding, took a test yesterday and it was BFN 😢 has anyone else experienced missed or late periods?

I’m not overly upset that I’m not pregnant, getting used to the BFN, I just have no idea what’s happening with my body and I really don’t want the unpleasantness of feeling like this, just want my period to come and then go again so we can keep trying and I can get back to normal, whatever that is!

Well done on the changes. It sounds really positive. I have experienced delays in my cycle previously and I put it down to mind over matter wishing which in turn led to the delay. It could also be that you simply ovulated later this month.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is wait. Test again in a couple of days if you still have no sign of your period.
