Does clomid works in the first cycle? It did not worked out for me.. I have tried getting pregnant for about 9moths without success.. Help

I am sorry to hear it wasn’t successful. It’s so heartbreaking.

You should be given 6 months worth of clomid ; then your fertility specialist will discuss other options if it doesn’t work.

I think it can take even healthy couples an average of 6 months to fall; try not to worry it hasn’t happened straight away and just because the first month hasn’t worked doesn’t mean you won’t fall another month in clomid. Many ladies fall on 5 or 6 th monthly taking clomid.

I tried Clomid for nine months about two years ago, but it just didn't work for me. I have heard of ladies being lucky and it working first time, but it's best to give it a go for a few months and fingers crossed you'll be lucky. I already had regular 28 days periods like clockwork, so it didn't do anything to my cycle. What I am lacking is the hormones during that cycle. I don't know any more about Clomid, but people on here are very helpful so you may get some good info.

I'm in my two week wait and have regular blood tests, so all is going well at the moment x
