11 weeks 4 days pregnant tired and exhausted all the times

Hope you all doing good . I am

so tired and exhausted throughout the day . I can’t do anything , when this will go away ?? Is there any tips ?? All I want is to sleep , is this normal ??

It's normal lovely. Your body is working hard for bubu. Only thing I can suggest is try to rest when you need too and juice fresh fruit and veg my grandma did that for me when I was pregnant with my daughter and it helped. Ask the gp to check your iron also.

Aww ok thanks . My mid wife took blood test on 7 th week and told she would ring back if I have iron deficiency . I haven’t received any calls so hope it’s good. I have my 12 th week scan next Tuesday so I should ask them .. Ya I drink pomegranate juice every morning but I should start having some green juice . I can’t do as I am so tired 😭😭. Thanks for your reply .

Yes try up your greens. A good juice is, celery beetroot spinach and apple tastes good too. Look forward to hearing how your scan goes lovely.

Very normal, especially in 1st trimester. Good news is the exhaustion should go away a good bit when you enter the 2nd trimester and start to feel more energy again. In the meantime, rest when you can. Also, keep taking pregnancy vitamins. Drink plenty of fluids too. Bananas are good energy food. Try to get to bed early each night too. Don't attempt to do too much throughout the day if you can help it as this will zap your energy even more. Housework can take a back seat until you feek more energetic. Just the essentials need doing. Hope you start to feel less tired very soon. It will pass!xo

Hi I was soooo tried in my first trimester so it’s very normal try and take this time to relax. If gets easier when you get into your 2nd trimester. All the best with your 12 week scan x

I felt the same until around 11-12 weeks and then my energy started to come back and the nausea started to ease. Hang in there. Xx

Lol i was like that a few weeks ago .now I'm just fatigued and have minor headaches. It will get better so they say. I read somewhere it gets better towards week 14.congratulations .take it easy and sleep whenever you can .

Hi luv2017. So sorry to hear of your exhaustion. Why not contact your midwife or GP and tell her/him how you are feeling. You may need a blood test to check whether you need a bit of iron. Hope you soon feel better and can enjoy your pregnancy. Diane
