Another step in our journey

Hey, hope you are all doing ok? Ive not posted in a while but have been dipping in and out. I’ve just received a phone call for my partner and I to attend our first appointment at the fertility clinic. I was referred back in June. I don’t really know what to expect, and to say I’m a bit emotional at the moment is an understatement- wedding planning, going for small promotion in work, and although I knew the appointment was due feb, it threw me having the phone call so late into the evening! Sorry I’m rambling! So I’m guessing this is the next step in our journey, a step closer to donor sperm, Any advice? Thanks xx

You do have a lot of different things going on in your life right now so I can understand how that phone call has thrown you. It’s understandable that you’re feeling emotional as all three are stressful events in their own rights, never mind having all going on at the one time . Try to look at your IVF appointment and the beginning of this journey as something positive, like your wedding and promotion at work, something that will change your life for the better.
