Hi, I'm positive thinking that EC is going to go well & I'm going to get to ET this time. Has anyone had accupuncture on the day of ET? Can you have it twice, before and after ET, on the same day?

Don't know whether or not to book it!!

Hey hun please read my last post as I asked the exact same thing!! I found someone that does fetility accupunture and he recommended that I have accupunture on the morning of transfer and after transfer, but I may have it done the day before transfer. I am not too sure if I will do it straight after transfrr or the day after yet. Xx

I'm thinking this morning that I'm going to take a holiday on Wednesday so having the 2 sessions on Wednesday would suit me better! I'll have a think about it! Thanks x

Hey, yeah I’ve had it before and after ET. If it’s going to cause a lot of stress getting there twice and to your clinic you can speak to your Acupuncturist as there’s a certain amount of hours it can be done within after transfer. Good luck for EC xx

The clinic for accupuncture is only 15 mins max away from the other clinic so shouldn't be too much of an issue! Thank you x

Hi Lorraine, I had acupuncture on day of ET. Just the once. On the way home from the clinic. Keep up that positive thinking 😘xx

I had accupuncture during my last cycle but we never got to transfer so don't know if I should do it or not in this cycle!! If I don't have positive thinking then I will just curl up and cry - damn hormones!!! x

Wishing you lots of luck. I had it twice and found it positive. It's just timing it but your acupuncturist will be used to that xxx

Did you have it in this cycle with your BFP? When did you have it? x

Yep I had it this cycle. I had it around 2 hrs before and then about 3 hrs afterwards xxx

I had this done on two on my cycles before and after, its supposed to help prepare to open the cervix and afterwards to close the cervix. I didnt get my bfp but I do feel that it helped relaxed me.xx

I felt it relaxed me when I had it in the 2nd cycle but then keep questioning it when we didn't get to ET!!

I do get accupuncture once a week.. I’ve tried many ways to help me get pregnant.. im on my 6th day of supps and i still get accupuncture. My accupuncturist suggested i get twice a week when i am doing my injections.. so i guess i’ll do it.. it helps me relax aswell.. i think there is no harm to have it on or after your ET.. well, goodluck and hope all goes well..

I had it before and after. My fertility acupuncturist was really flexible. Although I got a bfn, i would consider it again.
