Hypnotherapy

Hi

I have recently started seeing a hypnotherapist for help with the stress and anxiety of ivf. Has anyone else got experience of this and positive outcomes?

I used hypnotherapy to help with a period of depression and it was very helpful.

I also used this app for our last IVF round and it really helped me stay a bit calmer - mindful IVF - might be worth a go. Good luck

Hi Em2804. Well, I must admit, I've always been in favour of this, providing they are a registered practitioner. It's one of the things the "Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists" recommend. For those of you who can't afford to try this, then treat yourself to a good relaxation CD and get used to listening to it, especially before appointments. I do hope it works for you, Diane
