I was wondering if anybody has any advice on good ivf clinics in london who specialise in patients with enfometriosis and any success stories using them? I have been told that I have a very slim chance of natural pregnancy and to go for private ivf straight away - i'm 37. I am worried about the costs as have heard each cycle can cost up to £20k for a good clinic. whats the best thing to do? go for initial consultations to a few clinics? and how do i go about choosing the right one for me.
Thanks all

Hi. We're not actually allowed to mention clinics by name on here as it's seen as advertising but hopefully some of the lovely ladies will pm you.. Many clinics have open evenings. It's a good idea to attend a few so you can get a feel for whether it may be right for you. All clinics should post their statistics for success on their websites. £20K sounds a lot of money, I don't have experience of clinics in London but the average price for a fresh round of ivf is about 5/6K. Good luck in your search xx
Thank you. That's ok if we can't name clinics on here, best thing is to research and like you say attend open evenings. if some are a little cheaper, thats more affordable. x
Hfea website is great for stats about clinics. Also consider waiting list length and physical location... sometimes you might be called in pretty early or for a very short appointment. If the clinic is nearby then you'll need less time off work!
Definitely attend some open evenings if you're not sure, and some clinics have free short consultations. Stats are all very well and good, but I'd also recommend going somewhere you feel comfortable and well looked after, sounds obvious I know!! You're going to be spending a lot of money and a lot of your time will be there so it's so important that you feel happy and relaxed (as much as possible!) I'm London based so if you want I can pm you? Xx
