This is wonderful news and gives me so much hope. I have a scan and bloods done tomorrow to see how they are before having them removed and re inserted. I'm excited now. Congrats xx
Hi Nor me! Just so pleased for you both. You must rest when you can now, 'cause you're going to be a big girlie! I remember the first twins I helped deliver by C-section, and my student midwife's eyes were nearly popping out of her head, when she said "How would you get them back in there"!!! Oh it did make us all laugh. I've lost count of how many I've had since then. You're going to be so happy. Diane
Yea im resting as much as i can when thomas naps, he has been sleeping in till about half 7 in the morning so its been nice to have that lie in. I was big with thomas and i have a tiny frame so 2 they will be tight for space lol i had a c section with thomas but it wasnt planned so is it likely they will book an elective section i have read some women give birth naturally with twins but not sure i could do that haha
. I had quite a traumatic time having thomas and was rushed into theatre. My community midwife did say i will be consultant led again and possibly more scans Xx
Hi Ro5ie. I'm sure that's right. They will look after you, so try not to worry. Seems like an elective C-section will be on the cards due to straining your scar. Probably would try with one, but not with twins. Anyhow, your consultant will give you good advice. At least you will be big in the cooler months, so that's a bonus. Diane
Yea I can prepare myself for that this time even though theres a long way to go yet. I think i'll be glad that it'll be cooler when im bigger its just to hot today. Will keep you updated on everything xx
It went fairly smoothly. No big dramas and both were born 6lb+ & healthy! She was 40 at the time and had had 2 mc the year before (both were ivf as well) xx
