Hey all,

So today is 10dp5dt. I've been testing since 5dp and getting positive results (although oddly my tests have been better in the evening?)

Anyway my beta shows a hcg level of 42 so a little on the low side (she said they'd be looking for 50+). Praying this will start to increase. Booked in for another beta on Friday.

Anyone had low hcg initially and gone on to have a successful pregnancy?

After 2 losses I'm not very hopeful 😥 thanks everyone xxx

I'm sorry my only bit to chip in is sadder news - same beta but at 17dp5dt - which doubled for a couple of weeks then slowly sloped off before miscarriage at 10wk5d That said I used a beta calculator online which showed women went on to live births with similar readings and the crucial part was the doubling every 48-72 hrs. Are they repeating the beta at all?

Thanks for your reply. I've to go back a week today for another beta. Just praying is starts doubling.

Sorry to hear about your loss 😔

It's to tough. Trying to stay positive but it's not easy xxx

Hi Amanda I was hoping some more could have helped you out with this ☹️ I've had no experience with slow rising beta but I know the balance can go both ways, I hope yours has a happy outcome ❤

Thank you. I was Googling it most of last night and have seen success stories although matt of the time it does tend to go the other way 😥

Trying to stay positive but prepare for the worst at the same time xxx

I totally get that. It's very hard 😥 it never feels like the pain will go away although over time it does become a little easier day by day.
