Hysteroscopy side effects

Hello ladies,

Done my hysteroscopy to examine my tubes and i heard that may cause a delayed period, any one experienced this?

Hey Hun I had a hysterscopy and biopsy last year-due to abnormal bleeding between my cycles. Anyway the operation went well-all normal.

I had blooded discharge for 10 days afterwards-I was told to wear pads not use tampons because of possible risk of infection-the bleeding was light. I had cramping too-uterus doesn't like being poked about 😂

My period came bang on time that cycle despite the bleeding I had prior my period. It didn't affect my period cycle.

That was just my experience-of course it can affect others differently. Thought I'd give you a positive story ❤️

I had a Hysteroscopy, biopsy and Lletz on my cervix in 2013 for pre cancer grade 3. Period came as normal the following month. Good luck with yours 🍀
