Just 4 days into my wait and feels forever.
I was just thinking though. If this is positive then when are you actually pregnant from as I saw something online that said it was from 2 weeks before egg collection. Is that right?

Lol I am feeling exactly the same Hidden been trying to keep busy but I just want to know lol
I know. I'm at work and thought that would help pass the time but it's really not. Just need to hold on until next week for me. I am testing a bit early than 2 weeks. Not sure why though it's just the date they gave me.
Good luck. 💞
Is your test day next Wednesday Hidden
I'm tempted to get a test but my family has history of negative tests so my mum said just to let Dr's do the bloodtest -aggghhhh lol ☺
Yes. They told me just to buy my own and do it then tell them.
Hey - I know the 2ww feeling. I am 9 days in, I've read online that HCG can be detected now on a home pregnancy tests but I am still waiting until my official test date which is Sunday! 😁
I think If it is positive you are actually pregnant from the day of egg collection as that is when the egg is fertilised with the sperm - that's what is says in my book from my clinic anyway. So I suppose we would only be 2 weeks pregnant at the time of testing - so nerve wracking isn't it! Good luck to you for your positive result x
Yeah definitely. I have taken the day off work and the next few. Just feel like I will want a wee break off after all this regardless if the outcome.
Good luck for Sunday. 💞
I don't blame you I have done the same, took a bit of time off. I've needed it as I have been exhausted and with all the side effects! Ha! You take it easy and look after yourself, try and keep busy with some fun stuff too 😄
Thank you 🙏🏼❤️
Full term is actually 38 weeks, but they add on 2 weeks as in natural conception we date you from the 1st day of your last period. In ivf you are deemed 2 weeks pg on egg collection day, so around 4 weeks on test day. Hope that makes sense xx
See that's what I wondered as I found a website which tells you every date you can imagine when you put in your egg collection date and it says two weeks before egg collection is when your pregnancy would start from. I wondered if that was correct.
Thanks for that.
