Scan following BFP ❤️

Today I FINALLY had my scan after having my BFP nearly 3 weeks ago. I am 7 + 3 It was so amazing to see and hear my little Frosties heartbeat ❤️.

Just to let all you ladies know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that all the crap we put ourselves through with the medication, the hormones, the mental breakdowns, the not knowing if there is any point in this journey is so worth it when you finally get to see your little baby on the screen. Hang on in there ladies you can do it! Baby dust to everyone 💖

Am I right in thinking you had FET?

If so you have just given me SSSOOOOOO much hope, we are about to start FET and I was feeling a bit apprehensive about it but your post has just given me hope

Hi Holly,

Yes it was a FET after our first ICSI cycle failed. I was apprehensive like you as I thought the best embryo was transferred first so if that didn't work why would a frozen one? But obviously it does ☺️. FET is much easier and quicker than a fresh cycle too which is a bonus.

I am completely over the moon and everything I've been through has been so worth it!

That's lovely to read. I have my first scan on Monday and can't wait!!! I'm currently 5 week now ( dated from egg collection ) and I had 2 embryos put back .

Was it an internal scan ?

Have you now been discharged from hospital ? And did they give you your exspected due date ?

As mine was a FET its dated from LMP.

Yes it was an internal and yes they gave me a due date of 04/02/17 ☺️

Yes they discharged me and I am now waiting to see my midwife in a week or so!
