Hi Poppy83, yes normally they tell you to take your pessary as normal prior to transfer. Excited for you! x

I was told not to use my pessary before transfer.  I had to take mine straight after transfer. Prob best to check with the hospital in the morning. Good luck x x

Our clinic recommends taking as normal. It also helps with transfer because they can't use jelly as a lubricant. GOOD LUCK!

I have always taken mine before transfer and it has been fine. Good luck!

I've been advised not to take one and my ET is this morning.

My clinic advised me not to take the pessaries the morning of the transfer. I forgot but when I arrived they told me it's not an issue as your lady bits are washed prior to the transfer x

I was told not to take the pessary morning of transfer but to take after. I think it depends on the clinic. Hope transfer goes well x

Thank you for all your replies.

Been for my embryo transfer this morning after having my pessary this morning. Apparently this was not a problem, as they clean the cervix beforehand anyway.

29 April. trying to decide whether to go back to work next week. The hospital have said I can go back next week, even though I have a sick note for two weeks.  The thought of being at home for two weeks does not appeal ha ha.

I see you've had a three day transfer. I have also.

Fingers crossed X

I am off till after test (25th) but already more than a week down as last week was all treatment. So just next week to do which doesn't seem so bad (remind me I said that when I post next week that I'm losing my mind lol). Lots of love and luck to you xx

I'm feeling quite calm at the moment, although I imagine the tension will grow over the coming weeks ha ha

Wishing you all the best too x
