My test is positive , I tested just some time back. I will give nurse call in some time. When is the first scan and beta test normally once you get positive urine test ? I wish everyone on IVF/ Icsi journey a very good luck and sending you positive vibes. Xxx

I just took 2 days off after ET and I am off today. Back to work tomorrow. They have booked me in for scan on 24th Feb. How is it going with you? Xx

That's good just make sure you get plenty of rest and look after yourself ( I'm sure you are already 😊) I'm on my pill until 20th then start spray then injections e/c is booked for 14th March . All seems ages away and I keep reading on here that there have been a lot of negative results . I'm hoping I get a positive first time . I'm having my Accupuncture Saturday first go. I've booked of the whole 2 weeks for after egg transfer . Did you have day 3 or 5 transfer? Think I'm prob thinking too far into the future but can't help it . Feel like I'm going crazy sometimes . Have you got any tips ? Xx

Hey Aimaim77,

I can totally understand how you feel and excited about whole process. I am having loads 2-3 litres of water (I think it is very common tip hospital gives you). But personally I would say patience is the key from start to end, be stress free, keep busy yourself (watching movies helped me a lot and work kept me out of this for some time too). And I had 5day transfer. They have frozen my other two blasties ☺️

I was told that I might develop OHSS after EC as I had 20 follicles and they might have to postpone my cycle and freeze embryos if any. I was bad on EC day and the next day( severe bloating, abdomen pain, gas, constipation ) but surprisingly I was feeling alright just before my ET day and everything went well. And somehow I started feeling very positive and suspected it would be BFP for me. But throughout my 2ww I had no symptoms at all( just period like cramps few times) All the best to you Hun xx

Thanks. Shouldn't really be saying this on your happy thread but even though I'm only 5dp5dt I got really depressed last night about the complete lack of symptoms, maybe just the odd cramp here or there that could be indigestion for all I know. It's pointless to symptom spot I know, doesn't stop me doing it.

I think you wouldn't get any symptoms just yet, so don't stress yourself. I took it as no symptoms means Blasty is happy in there lol

Congratulations! Great present! My hospital won't do the first scan until 7 weeks because they say they can't guarantee heartbeat until that point so they don't want to put you through pain and fear for nothing if they scan too early and can't find a heartbeat because it's too early.
