Got egg collection tomorrow feeling so nervous hoping to get a few eggs as this is my last nhs cycle.

On my scan yesterday the right side had follicles ranging from two 18 one 21 some under 10 think 15 16 and maybe few more sizes. The left side not so good 5 small her words! maybe a 13 and 15 so hopefully gat a few out of them. Got 17 eggs on my last cycle but that was 2 years ago when i was 30 so looks like not going to be so good as I'm getting older now! will find out tomorrow Babs

Hi babsy, I was in a similar situation to you.....didn't have that many follicles on my left ovary but they managed to collect 16 eggs in total. I'm 32 aswell so hopefully ur age won't make much difference since last time out of the 16...9 fertilised and we only ended up with 2 but I'm now nearly 19 weeks pregnant

Hi good look with your egg collection tomoz.. hope you get lots of eggs.. im be on my 3rd scan tomoz hope fully my folicles would be big enuff.. like you mine were all different sizes but mainly 15mm... im nhs funded but only get 1 go ..so im hopeing for lots of eggs to x

Good luck! Don't worry about having lots of eggs, you only need one we had 13 collected, 9 fertilised and we're left with only 3 and now im 28 weeks pregnant! Its quality not quantity as my consultant would say x

Hi, had egg retrieval got 14 eggs but some of them are small so they one's probably be no use. They will phone me tomorrow to let me know how many have fertilised. Then hopefully if get some nice embryos they will let them go to blastocyst stage and will get a transfer on Monday. Many thanks for all your kind messages xx

Hi i had my scan again and my folicles are still 15mm a cpl are 21 and the rest are below 12.. they are taking my eggs out this fri.. im worried that they are not big enough and itwill fail

How did you get on with your egg collection? I hope all went well x

Hi, I got 14 eggs but some are small so probably be immature, find out tomorrow how many fertilise anxious wait! You've still got time for your's to grow they can grow 2mm in 24 hours so you should be fine! My biggest on sunday was 16 then scanned again Monday and 2 x 18 and a 21mm. Good luck for Friday xx

Ahh thats a good number of eggs.. i hope most of them fertilse for you.. i can imagine how anxious you are tho.ahh let me know how u get on.. they will prob tell u 2mos when they will be transfered .. i bet ur excited.. i wish you lots of luck..i suppose they do grow every day so theres till time im just feeling so down hearted at the moment i thought my body would have responsed better to the stim drugs with having age on my side.. i cant wait till sat to hear how many fertilised eggs i will have.. i think i will relax then.. ahh good luck hun keep us updated x
