We are thrilled to be accepted for nhs funding for ivf in liverpool hosp.. for one go only! Is this the new rule now 1 go on the nhs?????

It vaires throughout the different NHS boards. If they have told you one try only, everyone in your area will be treated the same.

Ok thanks.. i do think everybody in britian who is funded by the nhs should have the same amount of procedures to make it fair..thanks for replying

Hi there so happy for you to get the funding!!! I don't have children but my husband has one child and because of this the nhs will give me no help, I feel everyone regardless of there partners previous children should be given a chance , good luck with yours x

Hi sar75.. im sorry to hear that and i agree with you.. fertility treatment should be available to every person who want a child but need help.. they are playing monoploy with peoples lives. (They should at least part fund it) u think you will end up going private. I feel terrible for moaning about havin 1 chance at it x

Congratulations on your funding! Liverpool is fantastic hospital, we've justhad our 1st ivf cycle there using the new tine-lapse technology and I am now 7weeks pregnant.

Wow congratulations.. 1st cycle aswell thats brilliant.. if you dont mind me asking was the reason you went for ivf.. its just my partner has a very low sperm count.

Hi yellow rose im 27 years old and my husbands 36 years i dont drink or smoke either.. up to last year they would not fund anybody who lived in warrington so we were lucky that they made it available. before the funding came available we were going to move to trafford because funding was available there.. is it due to your postcode the reason u were refused. I feel bad for you but keep up your spirits and write to your mp etc.. good luck
