Hi

You will get a bleed, the Buserelin will probably just push it back by a couple of days - I've had 4 cycles and in every one, it was 2-3 days later than normal. Usually, when it arrives, you call the clinic to let them know and they would organise your down reg scan to ensure your ovaries are dormant and womb lining nice and thin, ready for the next set of drugs to thicken it up again and spark your ovaries into gear!!

Some ladies don't get their period so quickly and in a few cases, but not commonly i dont think, I think a clinic will eventually prescribe a drug to induce a bleed if it doesn't come on it's own - either way, you're stuck with it at some point - but hopefully it will be your last one for at least 9 months!!

Good luck xxx

It will feel exactly the same as a normal period. For some, the cramps can be a bit worse than usual but nothing a couple of paracetamol won't sort out.

Now stop worrying! This is the one time that your period should be welcome as it means you've reached the next stage in the cycle - then it starts to get really exciting!!!

Try to relax over the weekend and not think about it too much xx

Yes it means hopefully this will be the last one I have and yeah I am getting that exited feeling now, alough I have only have 11 injections of buserelin by today, my first scan is on the 10th Oct.
