After an entire day and night filled with panic and anxiety yesterday, we had our 20 week scan and all is as it should. I feel so lucky and so blessed and I never want to leave this feeling because I am so lucky and so blessed. My miracle girl 🌈

Ah doing ok 👍 17 weeks next week, at the point where it’s pretty obvious I’m pregnant but don’t want to tempt fate by telling to many people 😕 so looking to that 20 week milestone to hopefully give that reassurance xx

Yes we did! And we have 1 healthy 9 week baby. Bit of a shock though as there were 2 gestational sacs - 2nd one with just a yolk sac and empty. Stopped at 5 weeks. So we had a vanishing twin! We are over the moon though with 1 healthy baby so far x

We're going really well so far, thanks for asking 🥰 I'm 28 weeks on Tuesday and cannot believe it... 🤯 They seem to move a lot now, which I love, and we'll have another growth/wellbeing scan next week (so a bit of anxiety ahead as usual). So far they've measured "Big". Which is great because they'll be out by 36 or 37 weeks so you want them a bit chunky! But I'm only 5ft so the bump is massive 😅😅
It’s great they measure big since they are twins! And you get to meet them “earlier” as well! Glad all is going well! Do you know the gender? Xxx

We don’t know the genders ☺️ Hopefully it can stay a surprise! Although I don’t think the sonographers and consultants love doing the scans knowing they need to hide it hah. I have a feeling / from my untrained eye twin 1 is a boy!

I chose to. I compared the risks and benefits of v-birth and c-section birth and felt more comfortable with a c-section. I also don’t want them to use any tools to help the baby out or induce me and don’t want to be waiting around for hours and then end up having an emergency c-section.
I know what you mean, it makes sense! I wonder if they let everyone choose or if it’s only because you have twins? x
Ah I’m not having twins! They should let everyone choose, but I know some hospitals make it more difficult than others. You have to insist though and if they don’t agree with you, they need to refer you to another consultant that would support you.
Lol not sure why I remembered you were having twins, maybe because of the c-section! I will see how I feel, like you what would worry me is the use of tools to pull her, I’ve always found that a bit scary!
LOL I’m so exhausted I don’t know how I would manage twins 😆.

Doing well! Well, saying that at 4:30am and can’t sleep as nights are becoming more uncomfortable hahah but overall can’t complain! Generally feeling good still. Will be 27 weeks this Sunday. Not long till the last trimester now! Need to actually start thinking about getting stuff and birth itself hahah but I like to stay in this 2nd trimester bubble for a bit if I can! 😅

Made it to 22 weeks and haematomas have finally resolved so just ahead of you. All good from 20 week scan too, such a relief to get through another milestone.x Just starting to feel some kicks which is so lovely🥰.x

I had my first scan at 6+6 and was amazed to see the heartbeat and hear the sonographer say things looked all fine! Was so relieved 😅 Now, onto worrying about the next one….😊x
